Speeding through traffic without brakes

A fixed-gear bicycle (or fixed-wheel bicycle, commonly known in some places as a fixie) is a bicycle that has a drive train with no freewheel mechanism. The free wheel was developed early in the history of bicycle design but the fixed-gear bicycle remained the standard track racing design. More recently the "fixie" has become a popular alternative among mainly urban cyclists, offering the advantages of simplicity compared with the standard multi-geared bicycle.

Currently, I am riding a fixie around my city when I have some spare time or one of my friends asks me to go on a trip with them. I use my bike to go wherever I want. I sometimes go to school riding my bike even if my mother is against it (HAHAHAHA thug life XD).

Riding through traffic without brakes is very dangerous. If you intend to ride on city roads full of cars, you should know how to stop your fixie and avoid being clipped by passing cars. There are some events that I almost got hit by a car because I crossed an intersection without stopping. My heart raced as I pedaled faster to avoid the car. There was also one time I crashed on to the sidewalk just to avoid a crossing van. I decided to crash on the sidewalk instead of ramming the van because I do not want to pay any damages. I did not care about my condition after my crash, I immediately looked at my bike if there was something broken or maybe a scratch on the paint job (priorities first HAHAHA).

Riding a fixed-gear bike is a whole new experience. I am recommending it to other bike riders to try and ride one. My friends and I are riding fixed-gears together just for fun. When I go to school riding my bike, my friends are always asking me if they can ride my bike. I always let my friends ride my bike.

Riding a fixie is life threatening but I am willing to take the risk just to have fun. I will do anything for the things (or people HAHAHA #hugot) I love even if it means risking my safety or threatening my life.

If students can be cool, then so can professors.

There are certain students who are often referred to as cool because of what they do, how do look, etc. But what about professors? Most professors either get on your every nerve, are a laughing stock, or scare the life out of you. But there are several professors who are just likes us students, cool and reserved. You can practically consider them a part of your tropa or barkada.

Sir Glenn Concepcion aka Commanding General

Approachable, humorous, caring, sincere, and without a doubt, amazing. You wouldn't expect that he would be like this. He is there to discipline the students and guide them. He does that but still remains a friend to all. There are times when he is serious and times when you can joke around with him. Whenever you need someone to talk to, he's your guy! He is a friend to all. He's knows when to play but never forgets to do his responsibility. Well, that's Sir Glenn for ya!

Sir Miguel Quizon aka MiguelKeyzone

Sir Quizon is an all around type of guy. He loves to write, speak, work out, act, travel and play instruments. He's got the looks, a great build, the brains, the talent and many more. In the classroom, he gets all serious, but outside of the room, he jokes around as if he's a student just like us.

Sir Randy Carpio aka Sir curfew

This guy just loves math. He answers the math book during his free time. Tall guy, awesome voice. He's so chill and relaxed during class discussions. He makes sure every one of his students understands the lesson. He's serious during class discussions but is open to jokes every now and then. He laughs along with the class and jokes around as well! Pretty chill guy, if you ask me. (Sorry, I couldn't find any pics of sir Carpio aw huhu).

Sir Bernard Layon aka LokoNioko

This professor is one of the coolest professors ever! He's so approachable. It's as if he's one of the students with the way he acts. He knows what's in and what's not. He teaches pretty well and laughs along with the class. He isn't afraid to join in with whatever the class is doing. He's young and he's got the looks, plus he's pretty smart. Cool professor, Sir Layon!

We've all experienced things that have shaped us, made us who we are and changed our entire perspective in life. We've been faced with situations that have made us want to give up, but in the end, we keep going.

Sometimes it seems like nothing's happening. It seems as if we keep trying our best, but we aren't moving forward. We may choose to do things first. We don't set our priorities straight even if we should. Never give up just  because of a certain event. It may seem like the end of the world, but guess what? It's not.

The world has a nasty habit of proving us wrong. So let's try to turn that around. If you feel like giving up, try to find someone who actually cares. Believe me, there are a lot. You just have to find the right ones. Find the person who will accept and care about you. Find people who will see your worth as a person.

A very good friend of mine once told me, "May halaga ka naman eh, maybe you and other people don't see it yet." Surround yourself with people who care about you. Surround yourself with family and friends. But don't forget to love yourself as well. See your worth as a person. You can't rely on other people for everything. If you want something, then do something about it. Start with yourself and don't give up. Be weird, be free. Be who YOU are. Your past doesn't define who you are, you do.

Team Tamad

It started as nothing but a group of people who had several things in common. Not knowing nor expecting what would become of them. Day by day, hanging out with one another, turned into something big. Who would've thought that what was once a joke would become something serious. Team tamad, home for those who play Clash of clans, watch movies at the library, and go to Total (the gas station) during their free time.

"What's life without a little risk?(Sirius Black, Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban)" If you ask me, I think this is their motto. They go places, do and say what they want despite the consequences. Rule breakers, if you ask me. But at the end of the day, they don't forget to their homework, projects and other school work assigned to them. Somehow, they all manage to pass. It's probably because they help one another. All for one, one for all nga naman.

They may seem like a typical group of delinquents, but you know what they say, things aren't always what they seem. They're actually a really great bunch. They're the realest real you'll ever meet. It's not always what's on the outside that matters, but what's on the inside. Get to know people before you judge them. They may be like this at times, but they make up for it. Each one of them have been through certain things that have made them who they are today.

You and yourself

It would probably be normal to start of with an introduction of some sort, but I'm not good at that, so instead, I'm going to start off with a story.

○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○

There once was a group of friends, who loved doing anything and everything. They didn't care about what other people said about them as long as they were happy. Everyday you'd see them going around, just laughing and smiling about everything under the sun.

They were pushed away by many, they were considered outcasts, but what? Nothing. No one even dared to talk to them, until one day, a curious individual approached them and asked, "What is with you all? Don't you care that you're being pushed around? Doesn't it bother you that no one likes you guys?" The group just laughed and one of them stepped forward.

"They might not like us, but we like us. We're happy with who we are, we do what we want, and we've got each other." He said simply. "What's the point in trying to fit in and be normal when you aren't happy? You may not like us, but we're happy, and that's more than enough."

○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○

It's a pretty sappy story, if you ask me. Most people who would read this would most probably think that it's pretty lame, but my point is, many of us are misunderstood. We are judged based on our appearances, what we do, what we like, and what pleases us. Others even lie to themselves, pretending to be someone else just to fit in, but what? Ask them if they're happy. They gain friends, sometimes even fans. They become popular and people think they're pretty cool. But is that really who they are? It's better be yourself and be happy, than to pretend to be someone you're not just to gain popularity, but deep down, there is this longing. You're longing to let it out. The person you want to be is locked away, somewhere.

The point is, being you is like the most important thing ever. Why look for people who won't accept you for who you are? Be yourself and let people come to you. There's bound to be someone who will love you and accept you for who you are. You just have to wait. Remember, you were brought into this world for a purpose, and that purpose is NOT, and I repeat, NOT to please everyone. Your mother didn't give birth to you just to raise you to make you please everyone, no. According to "KUSHANDWIZDOM", one of the biggest challenges in life is to be yourself in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else. Yes, that's true, that is why you have to fight. You know what they say, "The struggle is real." but once you get the hang of it, everything will fall into place.

You were brought into this world to love and be loved, to be who you are, to stand out, to chase your dreams, and just be yourself. God is giving us the privilege to be who we want to be, why would you even allow some mere human to take that away from you?
